Vernon Thommeret

I was mostly recently a Product Manager at Etsy, responsible for its Homepage and Site Navigation. I started at Etsy as an engineer.

My main skills are in team building (hiring, team alignment, mentorship, goal setting), product ideation and strategy, design (typography, graphic design, UX design, UI design), data analysis (Hadoop jobs, SQL, opportunity sizing, A/B testing), engineering (PHP, JavaScript, Java, Scala, Objective-C, C, Ruby, Python).

I graduated from Wesleyan University in 2010 with a Computer Science degree and tons of art classs (see my resume).

I spent the Summer of ’09 working as an intern at Meetup.com in New York building out their first mobile website and iPhone app.

I spent the Summer of ’08 as an intern at Yahoo!'s data group, developing internal web applications.
